At a time not like ever before with world tensions at its peak and financial disaster
at any moment America’s Republican elect picks a candidate with such lack of moral fiber is beyond pale. At a time when we need wisdom and ability to get along with other nations especially now when trade and commerce is vital to lifting oneself up from financial duress we get a guy who will probable get himself killed and whole lot of others with the attitude on display. One only hopes he is just boosting on stage and not following through on his rhetoric, otherwise this will be a grimm world from here on out.

US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney speaks on the final day of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, August 29, 2012.

US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he would take a tough stance on Russia if elected.

“Under my administration, our friends will see more loyalty, and Mr. Putin will see a little less flexibility and more backbone,” Romney said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He made the remarks in a speech on the final day of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday.

Romney also condemned Obama’s foreign policies, claiming the US president has been too soft with Iran and Russia.

The former governor of Massachusetts officially accepted the presidential nomination of the Republican Party on Thursday, and he will challenge President Barack Obama in the election of November 6, 2012.

The Republican stated that the Obama administration has abandoned the key allies of the United States, such as the Israeli regime.

In addition, Romney said if he was elected US president, he would “preserve a military that is so strong, no nation would ever dare to test it.”
